![]() Their comedy also contains sexual jokes, although NGNL has a higher fanservice content. For example, Kurousagi develops an interaction with Izayoi that looks a lot like the interaction between Steph and Sora. Some of the interactions between the characters are also somewhat similar. The reconstruction and rise of these groups or nations by the protagonists is also part of the plot. Both groups are presented as those whose past is full of defeats and from which (almost) everything has been taken away. In that sense, Mondaiji-tachi deals with the "nameless" community, while in NGNL we speak of Immanity. In both shows, the protagonists are part of the group that, in the initial context, we would call "underdog". In parallel, in Mondaiji-tachi, characters from different races are treated more freely and appear randomly in different communities. ![]() No Game No Life, however, is more organized in its worldbuilding, presenting each race as an independent nation endowed with values, attributes, political system, diplomacy and history. Both are centered around betting and have a fanciful atmosphere, seen especially in the different races that inhabit these worlds. Disboard and Little Garden are isekai worlds with a very similar setting. In NGNL, there are the duo of gamers, hikikomoris and extremely intelligent, Sora and Shiro. ![]() In Mondaiji-tachi, we followed three teenagers from different times with special powers. Both works come from protagonists bored in the face of the reality in which they find themselves, in general because they are "too smart" for their worlds. This is perhaps not the most unusual of recommendations. One is baised around siblings whilst the other is about 3 selcted teens who don't know each other until they are teleported to the other world read more One uses an array of colours in the animation Both have a genius for one of the main characters Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?, is about 3 teenagers with exeptional abilities are teleported to another world where they are needed to help save humanity by participating in games where if they win they gain resourses for there race. one day they get a mysterious email containing a challenge to a chess game, after winning they are teleported to a mystical fantasy world where everything is decided by games. The whole style being very bright and makes it seem fun at all times.ĭue to these similarities, it is pretty apparent that if you liked either one of these Anime you will most likely, like the other one. The visual style of both Anime are both amazing, although in my opinion, 'No Game No Life' is far better when it comes to visuals. Not only that, he is very good at thinking of strategies on how and win both in and outside of an actual battle. 'Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?' being different with the source of over-poweredness coming from Izayoi who has strength capable of fighting gods one on one. Able to get the win no matter what the situation is. The characters also go under the same category as over powered for their world, 'No Game No Life' having 'Blank' who are extremely over powered when it comes to anything game related whether skill or logic based. The main characters are thrown into a world where everything is settled with games, although 'Mondaiji' is far more broad when it comes to that term as it could be anything. The premise of both 'No Game No Life' and 'Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?' are pretty much the same.
